Drug and Alcohol Testing

Non-negative results testing.

Where results are non-negative, it is possible for the subject to acknowledge that the test results reflect their usage activity. This honesty can become a foundation for positive engagement and supporting change.

Where the results are contested, or full validation is required, samples will be analysed by a laboratory to provide the highest levels of confidence.

Accredited, accurate results.

All tests are certificated for their exceptional levels of accuracy.

All laboratory tests are completed by laboratories with UKAS accreditation. UKAS is appointed by the UK government to assess and accredit organisations providing testing.

Reports that make sense.

We don’t baffle you with scientific jargon.

Our result reports are clear and concise.

Reports can be tailored to your specific requirements.

Expert witness testimony.

Where required, we can provide expert witness reports and attend court to provide testimony and be cross-examined as an expert witness.

Reports and witness testimony are provided in accordance with Part 25 of the Family Procedure Rules (2010) and set out the tests used, the reason for choosing that type of test and the test results.

Multi-Disciplinary Team support.

Repeat testing cycles to track progress.

Longitudinal tests provide an excellent record of drug and alcohol use over a period of time.

This repeat testing can quickly reveal how well a person is achieving their reduction/abstinence goals and so provides an early warning signal that would be missed if services simply rely on a single result prior to a court-case or other intervention.

Randomised testing patterns.

We offer randomised drug testing to ensure that a person is not simply avoiding drug or alcohol use in the days immediately prior to a pre-arranged test.

Detailed drug use profiling.

Our tests don’t just report the positive presence of ‘drugs’, they reveal usage of a range of specific and different types of drugs.

Volume discounts.

We offer highly competitive discount rate cards to help support high-volume testing.

Enhanced DBS.

Our testers hold enhanced DBS certification that your Local Authority, NHS Trust or other relevant governing body is able to verify electronically.

Certificated clinical waste disposal.

You don’t need to worry about any stage of our drug testing process - including clinical waste handling and disposal.

All test waste is disposed of with with full clinical waste certification from a waste management provider that is partnered with a range of recovery specialists to ensure minimal environmental impact.
